Greening NRE terrain Eindhoven

SMARTLAND working on Nature-Based Solutions for the Municipality of Eindhoven. This is because the city has been chosen as the European demonstration city for experiments of a major livability study being conducted by the European Commission's climate lab, UNaLab. In three projects along the Dommel River, City Hall and the NRE site, among others, we will tackle urban heat stress and flooding and increase biodiversity and livability. For the NRE site, we have chosen to green Building 3, reduce paving in the public space and place SMARTLAND-designed rain barrels called 'BIO holders'.
