SMARTLAND is involved as designers in the Marickenland project, between Vinkeveen and Wilnis, a nature development project from the Utrecht-West Program Office, in which also bullrush farming has a place. To stimulate the local population to participate, we designed a viewing screen that sketches a possible future situation. SMARTLAND is als ontwerper betrokken in het project Marickenland, tussen Vinkeveen en Wilnis, een natuurproject vanuit Programmabureau Utrecht-West, waarin ook lisdoddeteelt een plek heeft. Om de lokale bevolking te prikkelen mee te denken hebben wij een kijkscherm ontworpen dat een mogelijk toekomstbeeld schetst. Het scherm sluit prachtig aan op de bruggen van Jan Konings die hier al eerder zijn gerealiseerd, en is onthuld door vier enthousiaste bestuurders als start van het

Op 4 Oktober 2018 stond SMARTLAND samen met Stichting Noordzeeboerderij op de innovation expo in Rotterdam. Stichting Noordzeeboerderij werkt als platform voor de Nederlandse zeewiercommunity, die inmiddels uit meer dan 200 personen (ruim 75 organisaties) bestaat. Deze groep omvat de gehele keten van zeewier: van zeewierzaadje tot -salade, van schip tot verwerkingstechniek. We helpen ondernemers en organisaties om actief te worden in de zeewiersector met netwerk, workshops, a
